Animals

We have been learning all about animals. I want you to share a couple of things you have learned in our class about either mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, birds, and/or insects. You can even give us some examples of animals and tell what type of animal they are. Have fun!

    People don't lay eggs.
    Insects have 3 body parts.
    Birds lay eggs.
    Fish have gills so they can breathe under the water.

    Margaret says amphibians have slimy skin. Reptiles have rough skin. Insects have six legs.Fish breathe with gills.

    I learned that humans are mammals.
    Insects have 3 body parts and 6 legs.
    Some reptiles are amphibians- that means they can live in water or on land.
    I had fun this week!! I learned alot!!

    An insect has six legs. Birds are the only animals with feathers. Mammals have fur. Mammals don't lay eggs.

    A mammal gives birth to live babies.
    Most amphibians have smooth skin.
    Reptiles have scaly skin.
    Birds are the only ones that have feathers.
